More about Janet
After two decades of service to ACT, Janet Godwin was recently chosen as ACT's chief of staff. In that role, Godwin develops ACT's corporate strategic plans, monitors strategic initiatives, manages executive job searches, and oversees all special projects at the request of the CEO. Prior to her current role, she held several senior management positions at ACT, most recently vice president of Operations.
As the daughter in a military family, Godwin grew up on Air Force bases in Alabama and England. After her father's retirement, the family settled in Oklahoma.
Godwin received a BA in English from the University of Oklahoma, an MA in English from the University of Iowa and has completed all the coursework towards an MA in instructional design and technology.
Prior to joining ACT, Godwin was a writer for the University of Iowa Alumni Association.
Godwin and her husband Richard have a daughter and son.
