As senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer at ACT, Tom Goedken directs the work of ACT's financial unit. His staff plans and administers all budgetary operational activities that support ACT.
Among his many responsibilities, Goedken oversees tax matters, contract costing, financial monitoring, and investments of reserves, as well as central corporate services functions.
Before joining ACT in 2001, Goedken served as manager of the Iowa City office of Clifton Gunderson, PLC. Prior to that, he was chief executive officer at Anasazi, Inc. and chief financial officer/controller at Purethane, Inc.
Goedken was born in Dubuque, Iowa, and grew up in Iowa City. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a BBA in accounting and an MBA.
Goedken is married to Jammie. They have two grown sons, Michael and Mac.
