Diversity Committee

The ACT Diversity Committee was established in 2007 to identify ways to help foster diversity and inclusion at ACT and to implement projects designed to create an environment where all employees can do their best work.

The Diversity Committee, chaired by ACT's Manager of Diversity and Inclusion, consists of 12 members representing a broad cross section of ACT's operational areas. Committee members meet monthly to discuss diversity issues, share information and resources, and develop and implement activities that contribute to and complement the company's diversity and inclusion efforts.

The Diversity Committee's charter continues to evolve. Currently, it functions as a "grassroots" effort within our company to promote understanding and respect for differences among employees and a stronger sense of community within the company. It provides support, networking opportunities, information about opportunities to participate in the local community, and assistance in activities that encourage cultural awareness.
