Scott Stimart Named Vice President in ACT’s Workforce Development Division

Scott Stimart is the new vice president of marketing and sales in ACT’s Workforce Development Division. He will oversee promotional and sales efforts for ACT’s skill assessment and training initiatives for workforce professionals.

Prior to joining ACT, Stimart served as vice president of sales and marketing with Fastek International Inc. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He has also held similar positions at the Crystal Group Inc. and Penford Products Co., both in Iowa, and Buckman Laboratories in Memphis, Tennessee. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, he is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.

“Businesses across the nation have workforce development challenges that they desperately need to solve,” said Richard L. Ferguson, ACT CEO and chairman of the board. “Momentum is building for our workforce development programs. States are embracing our new National Career Readiness Certificate, based on our WorkKeys system.

Scott Stimart’s skill and experience will help bring awareness of these programs to businesses that need them.”

Stimart will focus on promoting ACT’s workforce development products and services, including the WorkKeys system, the National Career Readiness Certificate, and the ACT Center™ network.
