Ranjit Sidhu joined ACT as senior vice president of Strategic Initiatives in the Education Division in September.

He is responsible for overseeing and managing initiatives related to new programs and services in education and enhancements of existing educational programs. He also oversees the research and development areas. Sidhu is an integral part of the leadership team in Education focused on strategic planning and forging new strategic alliances with organizations that position ACT well for the future.
Ranjits career experiences have built his passion for advocating for youth, education, and workforce development issues, said Cynthia B. Schmeiser, president and chief operating officer, ACT education division. I am thrilled to welcome him to ACT and know he brings a wealth of experience that will help us advance our mission in education.
Sidhus background includes serving as executive vice president of the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships in Washington, DC. He led the organizations work in providing national advocacy and technical assistance leadership in the administration of the $300 million federal GEAR UP program.
He also has served as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the National Association of Partners in Education, where he provided leadership in the formation and growth of multi-sector partnerships focused on ensuring success for all students.
