More than 100 people participated in the fifth annual Global Assessment Certificate Summit held earlier this year in Beijing. They included GAC license holders and their marketing managers, Chinese and United States government officials, and prospective Approved Testing Center (ATC) representatives.

ACT Education Solutions (AES) hosts the summit each year in China to update participants on new developments and to provide training in marketing and operations.
Guest speakers addressed various subjects, including the U.S. education experience and application process, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and its increasing recognition in the United States, and United States Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) policies and procedures. GAC license holders shared their experiences in marketing, managing, and operating their programs during the current worldwide financial crisis.
Next years summit will be held February 2728 in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province.
