North Dakota Student Wins ACT High School Poster Concept Contest

A North Dakota high school student is the grand-prize winner in the 2010 ACT High School Poster Concept Contest.

Ashlee Schadler, a student at Bismarck Technical Center, won the top prize, a $5,000 college scholarship. Her poster concept will serve as the basis for this year’s ACT poster.

The contest challenged students nationally to create a poster encouraging other students to take the ACT® as their college entrance exam and to attend college.

A panel of judges chose the winners from nearly 500 entries based on creativity, visual appeal, and overall impact.

The 2011 National ACT High School Poster Concept Contest is under way. The official entry form and poster must be postmarked between October 18, 2010 and January 31, 2011. Winners will be announced on or about February 28, 2011.
