College and Career Readiness Workshops Provide Timely Information

Chris Mitchell, ACT consultant, elementary and secondary services, leads a College and Career Readiness Workshop at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, in the fall of 2008.

Every fall, ACT conducts more than 250 College and Career Readiness Workshops across the country serving school counselors, curriculum directors, test supervisors, teachers, and principals. ACT provides these educator workshops as a service at no cost to participants. The two-and-a-half-hour programs focus on a variety of topics, including college readiness, state ACT data results, updates on ACT products and services, and other timely issues.

The 2009 College and Career Readiness Workshop locations and dates will be available in mid-May.
