Members of the Zhejiang Provincial Education Bureau recently visited ACT headquarters in Iowa City. The delegation met with several major US testing organizations to gain a better understanding of how standardized tests are developed, administered, and used. While at ACT, the group also discussed possible areas of collaboration and mutual exchange programs. A delegation from the Indonesia National Education Standard Board recently met with ACT staff to learn and share knowledge about the processes of creating standards for education and conducting education exams at the national level. The Indonesian government sent three delegations on a worldwide fact-finding mission: two to the United States and one to the United Kingdom. The Board is authorized by the central government to develop, promote, evaluate, and monitor educational standards in Indonesia.
