Assessing SUNY General Education Learning Outcomes with CAAP

SUNY institutions can use the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) to assess general education learning outcomes in the areas of:

SUNY-Specific Results—CAAP score reports map explicitly to the SUNY general education learning objectives in Critical Thinking and Basic Communication (Written).

User Norms—Your faculty can use CAAP user norms to help determine what level of student performance they consider to be "exceeding," "meeting," "approaching," and "not meeting" standards.

Convenient Administration—CAAP test modules are designed to be administered in class, with each pencil-and-paper test taking approximately 40 minutes to complete.
