Where This Information Comes From

This job skill lookup is based on the WorkKeys Occupational Profile database—a comprehensive list of all of the WorkKeys skill levels required for occupations throughout the country. It includes skill levels for the other WorkKeys assessments not covered by the certificate—Applied Technology, Listening, Observation, Teamwork, and Writing.

Where the Average Scores Come From

Authorized job profilers completed the job profiling process for several thousand jobs. There are more than 400 occupational profiles that represent more than 4,500 profiled jobs. The occupation titles used in the database match the titles in the Department of Labor's Occupational Information Network database (O*NET™). For example, the skill levels listed in the Occupational Profile database for the occupation "Industrial Production Manager" are a composite of 79 jobs profiled for that one O*NET title.
