  1. Item Pool Updates: New COMPASS Item Pools have been authored and are ready for download. If you have not updated your workstation since June 8, 2012, you must apply COMPASS Item Pool Updates to continue testing. Printable instructions are accessible from the link below:
  2. IE9 is now supported for use with COMPASS Internet Version. (Technical Specs updated November 2011)
  3. Computer System Maintenance Schedule
    1. ACT System-wide Computer Routine Maintenance Periods (affecting all ACT computer services, including COMPASS Internet Version and e-Write in COMPASS Windows)

      System-wide maintenance periods are now scheduled as shown below. These maintenance windows are applicable to both eCompass and Compass 5.0. No Saturday night/Sunday testing or reporting with ACT Compass will be possible during the following Saturday night/Sunday periods:
      • March 28–29, 2015; Saturday, 5 p.m. CT through Sunday, 5 p.m. CT
      • April 25–26, 2015; Saturday, 5 p.m. CT through Sunday, 5 p.m. CT
      • May 30–31, 2015; Saturday, 5 p.m. CT through Sunday, 5 p.m. CT
      • June 27–28, 2015; Saturday, 5 p.m. CT through Sunday, 5 p.m. CT
      • July 18–19, 2015; Saturday, 5 p.m. CT through Sunday, 5 p.m. CT
      • August 29–30, 2015; Saturday, 5 p.m. CT through Sunday, 5 p.m. CT
      • September 26–27, 2015; Saturday, 5 p.m. CT through Sunday, 5 p.m. CT
    2. COMPASS System Maintenance Periods (affecting only COMPASS Internet and e-Write in COMPASS Windows)

      When required, COMPASS-specific system maintenance periods occur on Thursday nights, beginning at 11 p.m., central time, and generally are completed by 3 a.m., central time, Friday mornings.
