The ACT Test - ACT has rescheduled its April national and international tests in response to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). All students registered for April test dates received an email from ACT informing them of the postponement and instructions for free rescheduling to June or a future test date. After much consideration, ACT has made the difficult decision to cancel the spring 2020 ACT® Aspire® summative test administration window. Click here for more information.

For schools enrolled in Late Spring or Late April administrations, new rescheduled test dates have been established to allow schools to move forward supporting students with the ACT test and capturing year over year data. We are working directly with our state partners to offer alternate administration solutions for ACT State Testing. More information about your testing program will come directly from your state.

  • State Contract Customers: We are working closely with each state’s Department of Education to monitor the situation. As appropriate, updates will be provided to the designated school and district test coordinators and will also be posted in PearsonAccessNext and/or on your state testing website. 
  • District Customers: We are exploring alternate solutions for WorkKeys testing. We will send an email update to participating schools and districts and provide testing sites information about next steps. In addition, we will post messages about other ACT venues used by our testing coordinators as permitted. Complete this form to receive the latest updates.
  • National Testing: ACT will send an email communication to participating test centers with the latest updates and providing direction on next steps. In addition, we will post updates about other ACT venues used by our test coordinators as permitted.
