Here's how it works:
- You enter exact course titles from your district's high school curriculum (or, if you prefer, DISCOVER includes a generic list of courses). You can enter matching course titles for several high schools, if needed.
- With counselor and parent involvement, students use the list to select courses for each high school term, keeping in mind graduation requirements, their educational goals, and their intended career area.
Using the High School Planner:
- Students will see how high school courses are related to their goals
- Students will feel ownership of their high school plan, increasing their motivation to do well and to graduate
