Reporting Options for Colleges
- Summary Report
- This report provides frequencies and percentages for all items. For Likert scale responses, items are presented in rank order by average and in item number order with frequencies, percentages, and standard deviations.

- 15-Subgroup Report
- The subgroup report contains one page of data for every item on the survey form and reports response frequencies and percentages for the chosen subgroups.

- Graphics Report
- This report provides graphical information for selected demographic and Likert scale items. This report is available for these surveys: Alumni Outcomes Survey, Alumni Survey, Alumni Survey (Two-Year College Form), College Outcomes Survey, College Student Needs Assessment Survey, Entering Student Survey, Student Opinion Survey, Student Opinion Survey (Two-Year College Form), Survey of Academic Advising

- Statistical Comparison Report
- This report provides statistical comparisons between local survey results and those for comparable institutions from the national user norms. This report is available for only these two surveys: Student Opinion Survey (Two- and Four-Year Forms).

- Subgroup and Summary Composite Reports
- Two or more institutions or campuses can administer the same ESS survey form and request, at the time of scanning, that a report be produced for each institution and that a composite report, containing the combined data from all participating institutions, be produced for the system or group.

- Scanned survey data in an ASCII fixed-length file

- Normative Data Reports
- These reports provide user norms based on data from institutions that have used the survey. This report is available for the Adult Learner Needs Assessment Survey, Alumni Outcomes Survey, Alumni Survey, Alumni Survey (Two-Year College Form), College Outcomes Survey, College Student Needs Assessment Survey, Entering Student Survey, Faces of the Future Survey, Student Opinion Survey (Four-year College Form), Student Opinion Survey (Two-Year College Form), Survey of Academic Advising, Withdrawing/Nonreturning Student Survey, and the Withdrawing/Nonreturning Student Survey (Short Form).
