How Online Surveys Work
- Online surveys contain the same items as the traditional paper surveys and may be customized with your institution's logo or crest.
- You may include up to 30 additional locally-developed questions, plus open-ended questions.
- In consultation with ACT, you provide text for e-mails to be sent to your students/alumni by ACT.
- You provide ACT with a file containing names, email addresses, and any other institutional identifiers for the students or alumni you wish to survey.
- ACT sends a personalized e-mail containing a unique survey link to each of your students/alumni on a predetermined date.
- ACT tracks survey responses and sends up to three additional e-mail reminders to non-respondents.
- After the survey closes, ACT prepares and sends you customized data reports, including a CD with the raw survey data.
