As a high school intake measure, EXPLORE® gives educators the means to structure high school planning and career exploration for students and parents. It serves as a baseline to monitor academic progress.
Early planning information
Through EXPLORE, students' strengths and weaknesses can be identified early in their educational development, when they have the greatest opportunity to establish a four-year program of studies that will help them achieve their career and educational goals.
Connections to ongoing assessment
While useful as an independent program, EXPLORE also serves as the entry point into ACT's EPAS® Educational Planning and Assessment System. This integrated series of ACT assessment programs is designed to enhance students' preparation for careers, vocational training, or higher education.
