GE Healthcare Diversity Scholarship Program
THE PROGRAM
GE Healthcare has established a scholarship program to assist minority students who plan to continue their education in engineering, finance, information technology, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical sciences. Renewable scholarships and paid summer internships are offered to full-time students attending accredited four-year colleges or universities.
ELIGIBILITY
Two separate awards are offered in the GE Healthcare Diversity Scholarship Program. Children of GE employees are not eligible to participate.
Applicants for the 2010 Paul Mirabella Diversity Scholarship:
- Must be African American, Hispanic American, or American Indian.
- Must be a high school senior currently attending a public or private high school in the Milwaukee, Waukesha, or Madison (Wisconsin) area.
- Must be planning to enroll in a full-time* undergraduate course of study at an accredited four-year college or university, majoring in engineering, finance, or information technology.
- Must have (and maintain throughout the program) a 3.0 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
- Must arrange for the completion of an online appraisal from a third party (e.g., teacher, guidance counselor, coach, etc.).
Applicants for the 2010 Johnny Gibbs Memorial Fellowship:
- Must be African American, Hispanic American, or American Indian.
- Must be a current college student in their second or third year at Rutgers University or Florida A&M University.
- Must be enrolled in a full-time* PharmD program majoring in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Must have (and maintain throughout the program) a 3.0 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
- Must arrange for the completion of an online appraisal from a third party as well as an online letter of recommendation from a pharmaceutical sciences faculty member.
*Full-time study is defined as full-time enrollment for the entire 201011 academic year.

Applications due: 5:00 p.m. Central time on March 30, 2010
Applicant appraisals and recommendations due: 5:00 p.m. Central time on April 1, 2010
Applicants notified: May 2010

Complete the Application
You will be able to return to the application to update and edit as frequently as desired. After you have submitted the application, or after the March 30 deadline, the application will no longer be available.
