Faces of ACT

- Natasha Williams
- Supervisor
- Test Administration/Operations
I have been with ACT since 1998. I started as a contingent in Health Programs and was hired in Test Administration on October 26, 1998, as a Principal Clerk. In October 9, 2000, I was hired for the Specialist II/Trainer position in TA, and on October 2, 2006, I accepted the Supervisor of Test Date Follow-Up position in TA. My primary role in TA is to oversee the irregularity and complaint process.
I was born in Iowa City and moved to Rock Island, Illinois, when I was 1. I moved to Columbus Junction, Iowa, and attended Columbus Community Schools, and then moved to Iowa City for High School. I attended Kirkwood Community College, then transferred to the University of Iowa (Go Hawks) and graduated with a degree in communications. I have recently returned to Kirkwood to work toward an Associate of Science, Business Administration degree.
A typical day in Test Administration consists of numerous data entry projects, responding to parents or students who have concerns about a test date, and providing customer service to testing supervisors. I enjoy my job at ACT because of the people I work with.
I enjoy the outdoors, and camping is one of my favorite outdoor activities, along with hosting a great BBQ. I love to throw parties for any reason, go on road trips, and go to the beach. I am also a member of a small group called The First Social Club of Iowa City. We host parties the 1st Saturday of every month at the American Legion on Muscatine Avenue. My husband, Ronnie, is our DJ, and we have free food and play R&B, Hip/Hop and blues music. If you are looking for something to do, come on out!
