Minimum
Qualifications:
Two-years post secondary education, four to seven years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
 
Work
Preferences:
Proficient computer system usage and communications software including Design Expert, Forms Expert, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress and PhotoShop. Prior experience using a MacIntosh strongly preferred.
 
Essential Job Functions:   Plan, schedule, design and develop OMR and continuous computer output forms for all ACT areas and departments. Write specific and technical purchase requisitions and printing specifications for the purchase of machine readable and continuous forms for all ACT departments and areas.
  • Prepare electronic designs of specific OMR and continuous output forms.
  • Prepare electronic copy for submission to various printers.
  • Write purchase requisitions and printing specifications for all optical mark reader data collection documents, computer system-related output forms and window envelopes.
  • Prepare printer’s requested documentation.
  • Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding departmental projects.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external clients to discuss requirements and basic design.
  • Coordinate, schedule and monitor printing of all assigned forms.
  • Approve final print documents.
  • Obtain approval from appropriate personnel for printing.
  • Advise internal clients on the design of machine mail pieces.
  • Obtain printing price estimates.
  • Maintain knowledge regarding the business forms industry, as well as OMR scanners and high-speed computer printers.
  • Maintain departmental documentation, correspondence and files.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding corporate information.
