Human Resources professionals can earn continuing education credits at the 11th annual WorkKeys National Conference, taking place April 29 through May 2 at the Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis.
Hiring Tips and Tools for the New Millennium, a session led by David J. Smith, president and CEO of The Employers Association, has been approved for recertification credit through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Participants can earn four credits, which can lead toward a Professional in Human Resources or Senior Professional in Human Resources rating from HRCI, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Smiths session will be held twice during the WorkKeys National Conference:
The session will cover the best ways to attract and identify qualified job candidates, how to use skill assessments to evaluate job applicants and employees, and the values the emerging workforce brings to organizations. Space is limited to 60 participants at each session. Participants must register for the sessions prior to attending.
Each year, the WorkKeys National Conference attracts hundreds of national leaders in human resources, staff selection, employee development and related fields to discuss how ACTs WorkKeys system is used in hiring and training practices, lowering employee turnover, improving productivity and boosting the bottom line.
