ACT Announces Changes to ACT Test Schedule for International Students

Posted April 10, 2013

IOWA CITY, Iowa—ACT announced two improvements to its testing schedule for the ACT Test, beginning with the 2013–2014 academic year, for students outside the United States and Canada:

  • A September test date has been added—replacing the February date in past years—allowing an additional fall test date to meet Early Decision deadlines for college acceptance.
  • The optional Writing Test will now be available on all five of the test dates.

The test dates and registration dates for students located outside the United States and Canada for the 2013–2014 school year are:

We are pleased to be able to respond in this way.”
