College Readiness: Course Rigor Effects

ACT identifies a minimum core preparatory program as four years of English and three years each of math (Algebra 1 and higher), social sciences, and natural sciences. Patterns of course taking that go beyond and are in addition to core affect the number achieving benchmark scores.
