How to Apply

Application Deadline: May 1, 2012

Applications must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m., central time, May 1, 2012.

Recommendations for semifinalist will need to be submitted online between May 17, 2012 and by 5:00 p.m., central time, June 1, 2012.

Step 1	Print and read the application guidelines and follow the instructions provided: Application Guidelines (PDF; 3 pages, 82KB)
Step 2	Register If you need assistance creating an account, contact us online Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., central time.
Step 3	Take the Eligibility Quiz After you register, you'll be directed to the eligibility quiz. If you pass the eligibility quiz, the remainder of the application will launch automatically. If you do NOT pass the eligibility quiz, you will receive a notification, and the application will not be available to you.
Step 4	Complete the Application You will be able to return to the application to update and edit as frequently as desired. After you have submitted the application, or after the deadline, the application will no longer be available.
