Test Prep Resources

If you have been out of school for a while, you may find it helpful to take a practice test, such as the one contained in Preparing for the ACT. This free booklet is available from most high schools and colleges or from ACT Registration.

The following materials are also available to help you prepare for the ACT:

  • The Real ACT Prep Guide—The official prep book from the makers of the ACT. Includes three practice tests used in previous test administrations—each with an optional Writing Test.
  • Sample ACT Questions on the Web—Review these sample questions online. Explanations of both correct and incorrect answers are given with the correct choices.
