Underprepared Student Follow-Up Report

The ASSET and COMPASS/ESL Underprepared Student Follow-Up Report service can help your institution evaluate the effectiveness of your developmental or lower-level courses.

Use this report to compare the performance in standard or upper-level courses of students who were first referred to and enrolled in developmental courses with that of students who were referred directly to and enrolled in standard courses.

Here are some typical questions that the report can help answer:

• Do students adhere to our course placement recommendations?
• Do our developmental courses improve students' success in subsequent standard coursework?
