Benefits

The ACT Center® testing environment is comfortable and secure.
ACT Center test sites are comfortable, secure settings, located primarily on college campuses across the United States. Each ACT Center workstation contains a computer with a 17-inch monitor on a three-foot desktop. Privacy dividers separate the workstations.

Usually there is a large viewing window so the proctor can watch from either inside or outside the room. A video and audio recording system monitors activities at each desktop and can be reviewed as needed outside the test center.

We offer a flexible testing solution. You don't have to purchase a minimum number of tests to use the ACT Center network.

It only takes two weeks to get your tests on our system. As long as you already have a test published, it takes about two weeks to get your tests on our system.

Making changes to your tests is quick and easy. If you need to change test items, or you find a problem with information that needs to be updated, making changes is quick and easy. Simply access your tests on the computer and type in the changes. Likewise, you can add candidates or change titles as often as you like.

You can use dynamic media content. Test formats are flexible with QuestionMark. You can use multiple-choice items, case studies, and simulations, with ten layers of topic/subtopic branching. You also can take advantage of the latest technology using Flash, streaming media, and Internet hot spots.

The ACT Center network can deliver tests you've already created. Contact us for information about how to use tests created in WebCT, Blackboard, eCollege, or other course management systems. We use QuestionMark for tests developed through ACT.
