Work Tasks

• Hire and train gas station employees
• Make sure tools and equipment at the station work correctly and safely
• Order supplies like oil, filters, tires, etc.
• Manage money and keep bills and records correct and up-to-date
• Work for gas stations and auto service garages
• Work with automobiles, auto parts, order forms, money and employee records, hand tools, and other repair items

• $60,000 average per year ($28.75 per hour)

Education/Training

• Minimum for Entry: A high school diploma and related work experience
• Employers Prefer: A 2- or 4-year degree
