- Plan health insurance, pension plans, and other benefits for the company
- Track sick and vacation leave, and answer employee questions about benefits
- Solve problems and suggest changes in benefits
- Make workers aware of any programs the company has
- Work in offices in the personnel department of their company
- Work with labor contracts, insurance companies, insurance policies, memos, and employee records

- Certification/Licensing: Certification is available after passing courses and tests.
