• Work for writers, actors, public figures, singers, and athletes
• Make schedules, set up interviews, and make travel plans for clients
• Make their clients look the best they can to others
• Try to get the best working conditions and most money for their clients
• Most work in offices in New York or Hollywood and do some traveling
• Work with contracts, money reports, work schedules, phones, and reviews about their clients

Education/Training

• Minimum for Entry: A 4-year degree
• Employers Prefer: A 4-year degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a specific type of art or sport
• Skills/Courses: Ability is more important than a degree. Agents must be able to consistently find places for their artist to perform.
