• Install computer networks and make sure they work correctly
• Solve problems that may occur, and give up-to-date information on new software and programming changes
• Plan and install security programs
• Train workers in how to use programs
• Work for all kinds of manufacturers, businesses, the government, colleges, and engineering consultants
• Use computers, printouts, graphs, charts, drawings, and other types of data
