Work Tasks
- Make displays of clothing, furniture, and other sales items in windows, showcases, and floor displays in stores
- Choose the theme and set up props like lights, mannequins, and background scenes
- Take down old displays
- Make signs and paint if needed
- Most work for department, clothing, and furniture stores
- Work with clothes, home furnishings, jewelry, etc.; various hand tools; props, lighting, mannequins, paint, brushes, blueprints, drawings, and floor plans
