- Run machines that use chemicals to clean fabrics
- Sort items by color and by fabric type
- Put stain removers on spots and stains
- Pick the correct cycle for the fabric, take the things out of the machines, then press and bag the items
- Work indoors for drycleaning plants, coin-operated drycleaning shops, and firms that rent and clean uniforms, diapers, and linen
- Work with drycleaning machines, chemical solvents, washing machines, tumblers (to dry items), clothing, linens, uniforms, and other fabrics
