Work Tasks
- Decide what readers will like and what should be included in a writing
- Give the writers topics and oversee the making of a book, newspaper, or magazine
- Write material and rewrite or edit what others write
- Hire and fire writers and other workers and plan how the company will spend money
- Work in offices for publishers, advertising companies, radio and TV stations, large businesses, and the government
