Work Tasks
- Permanently remove unwanted hair
- Use sterile instruments and put antiseptic on the patient's skin before starting
- Put a small needle in the hair follicle and send electricity through it to stop hair growth
- Remove the hair with tweezers
- Most are self-employed and work in private offices, doctor's offices, or hair salons
- Work with epilators, sterile needles, tweezers, forceps, health records, and appointment schedules
