Work Tasks

• Buy and sell energy, such as gas and electricity, for customers
• Act as agents between energy producers and energy users
• Look at data and decide the best energy supplier
• Decide what type of energy is best for a customer
• Work indoors and outdoors for industrial, commercial, and private customers
• Work with contracts, bids, schedules, proposals, computers, and energy data

Education/Training

• Minimum for Entry: A high school diploma and courses in energy technology
