Work Tasks
- Use math, science, and engineering to solve problems in making products
- Help engineers and scientists study and make new products
- Run tests to make sure the quality of the product is good
- Make sure production workers follow a set course when making the product
- Work in labs, offices, electronic shops, industrial plants, and construction sites for manufacturing and engineering companies, and the government
- Work with blueprints, layouts, charts, graphs, statistics, stopwatches, cameras, tape recorders, computers, and testing equipment
