Work Tasks

• Keep schools, office buildings, stores, hospitals, apartments, hotels, and other buildings clean and in good shape
• Fix leaky faucets, take out trash, paint, and do small repairs
• Make sure heat and air-conditioning units are working right
• Mow lawns, and shovel snow
• Work in buildings such as apartments, schools, hospitals, churches, theaters, plants, stores, the government, and cleaning businesses
• Use mops, brooms, buckets, vacuums, polishing machines, wax, cleaners, various tools, brushes, paint, lawn mowers, and exterminating equipment
