Work Tasks
- Help librarians organize materials and help people find information
- Enter catalog information in computer databases
- Code library materials, loan books from other libraries, and check book orders
- Manage circulation desk workers and make bulletin boards and displays
- Work for school, public, legal, and medical libraries, the government, hospitals, museums, advertising agencies, and research laboratories
- Work with books, magazines, newspapers, reference materials, computers, microfilm and microfiche readers, and audiovisual equipment
