Work Tasks

• Manage a store and its employees
• Make sure customers are happy; deal with any complaints
• Order, price, and count goods and keep track of how much money is made or lost
• Plan the layout of the store, organize displays, and write ads
• Work for department stores, clothing and shoe stores, furniture stores, grocery stores, etc.
• Work with the things stores sell, store displays, order forms, financial records, and personnel records

Education/Training

• Minimum for Entry: Work and supervision experience in retail
