Work Tasks
- Install, fix, and maintain office machines
- Run tests to find out what the problem is when machines break down
- Take machines apart and fix or replace parts
- Clean, oil, and adjust parts to keep them in good working order
- Work for office equipment wholesalers, business machine makers, maintenance services, stores, government agencies, and repair shops
- Work with hand tools, cable, wiring, technical manuals, diagnostic programs, and office machines such as typewriters, fax machines, cash registers, mailing equipment, and photocopiers

Education/Training
- Minimum for Entry: A high school diploma and courses in electronics repair
