- Carry bags for people at hotels, airports, or railroad and bus stations
- Call taxicabs, run errands, give directions, and help people with disabilities
- Clean station floors, wash walls, windows, and counters, and dust furniture
- May mail shipments, figure the cost, tag items, and record details on forms
- Work for bus, railroad, and airline companies and hotels
- Work with baggage, hand carts, powered carts and trucks, conveyor belts, and cleaning tools
