Work Tasks
- Plan work schedules and manage workers
- Order store items and decide how much things should cost
- Hire and train workers and make sure safety rules are followed
- Deal with customer complaints and keep sales records
- Work indoors for large or small grocery stores or supermarkets
- Work with store products, cash, checks, inventory and order forms, ads, sales items, bookkeeping data, personnel schedules, computers, calculators, cash registers, and government regulations

Education/Training
- Minimum for Entry: A 2-year degree and experience working in a supermarket
- Employers Prefer: A 4-year degree in business administration and experience working in a supermarket
