Work Tasks
- Help people plan trips
- Suggest the best travel routes for clients and mark maps
- Plan points of interest for people to see, and nearby hotels and restaurants
- Make car and hotel reservations for clients
- Work for airlines, auto clubs, hotels, railroads, bus lines, and other companies that provide transportation
- Work with computers, time and rate schedules, weather information, brochures, travel literature, and maps

- $35,000 average per year ($16.75 per hour)

Education/Training
- Minimum for Entry: A high school diploma and on-the-job training
- Skills/Courses: Good interpersonal and computer skills are important.
