Work Tasks
- Direct warehouse workers and make sure they follow safety rules
- Plan work schedules, assign duties, and train new workers
- Plan how equipment will be used
- Make sure the inventory numbers are correct
- Work in warehouses of plants, wholesale firms, retail stores, and other types of businesses
- Work with invoices, bills of lading, hand tools, conveyors, forklifts, hand trucks, packaging and labeling materials, adding machines, calculators, and the goods of their company

Education/Training
- Minimum for Entry: A high school diploma and several years of experience working in a warehouse
- Employers Prefer: A 2-year degree in logistics management
- Skills/Courses: Skills in reading, writing, basic math, and office software.
