- Oversee activities needed to make big purchases or sales for companies
- Write descriptions, make bids, and do other paperwork
- Set up contracts and make sure the contracts are carried out correctly
- Work in offices for services industries, such as management, business, social, and health organizations
- Work with company equipment, materials, products, services, contracts, bids, specifications, test reports, progress reports, computers, and documents
