Work Tasks
- Answer customer questions about products
- Take orders, figure costs, and take payments
- Look at rented items when they are returned to make sure they are in good shape
- Write out tickets and use bar code scanners
- Work for video rental stores, laundry and dry-cleaning stores, car and truck rental firms, tool rental firms, and formal wear rental shops
- Work with the items they rent, tickets, order forms, computers, bar scanners, cash registers, money, checks, and charge cards
