Work Tasks
- Receive orders for products by phone, mail, computer, or fax machine
- Enter the order information and figure out how much it will cost
- Keep track of inventories
- Send order information to the correct department so items can be shipped
- Work for wholesale and retail businesses, and manufacturing companies
- Work with computers, office machines, mail, order forms, price lists, catalogs, inventory sheets, checks, and money orders
