- Make plans for group meetings, conventions, and workshops
- Find speakers and make sure the needs of the company will be met
- Try to get the best price possible for the event
- Plan details such as how many people will come, how many rooms will be needed, and when food will be served
- Work in offices or travel on a regular basis to the sites where meetings, conferences, conventions, and other events are being held
- Work for all types of business and industry, with expense reports, travel schedules, letters, emails, telephones, and computers
