Work Tasks
- Check goods to make sure they meet quality standards
- Reject goods with problems
- Send back goods which can be fixed
- Make reports of their tests and inspections
- Work for industries that make industrial machinery, motor vehicles, metals, electronics, textiles, clothing, aircraft, and food
- Work with testing instruments, micrometers, electronic equipment, calipers, gauges, voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, and inspection and test reports

Education/Training
- Minimum for Entry: On-the-job training
- Employers Prefer: Experienced assemblers
